Shaun is an attorney with over 16 years of experience. She has practiced primarily in areas of bankruptcy and domestic law. She obtained Bachelors degrees in 2002 in Political Science, as well as Sociology, certified in Human Relations, from Fort Hays State University. Shaun obtained her Juris Doctorate from Washburn University School of Law in 2005, then practiced in Topeka, Kansas, with Gary E. Hinck P.A. until relocating in 2021 to her home town in western Kansas, to build a practice in Larned, and to be near family. Now located in Larned, she is excited to serve Western Kansas with their financial and bankruptcy needs.
Shaun has been a member of the Topeka Bar Association and its Family Law Committee, as well as the Topeka Area Bankruptcy Council. She also served eleven years as a Court Appointed Special Advocate for children in need of care and about a year in 2011 as a director and special assistant for the State of Kansas Department of Social and Rehabilitation Services (now Department for Children and Families).
Her passion is working with clients and helping them and their families determine best options to obtain a fresh start.
